Faye Meacham Gibson,

Mother

A graduate of Florida State University, Faye has had a very

fulfilling career as a graphic designer specializing in branding for non-profit organizations. Over the last 10 years, she has renewed her focus on the fine arts particularly oil painting. She and her husband, Murray, spend time whenever possible at their place in Apalachicola. In fact, home for Faye is watching the sun rise and set from the end of her dock on Apalachicola Bay – themes that are featured in much of her work. She attributes inspiration to her Lord and Savior and often jots a scripture on the back of her canvases.

Lauren Servati,

Daughter

Lauren has roots going back five generations in Apalachicola. Lauren was graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in Interior Design and began her career as an interior designer before transitioning to textile design. Her career and her passion for travel carried her from Florida to Chicago, New York, Paris, and Atlanta, before finally settling in a small town just south of Atlanta. Lauren’s love for watercolor painting, florals, and international travel are the inspiration behind each of her designs. Her work has been featured in print and online publications such as: Architectural Digest, Modern Luxury Interiors, Apartment Therapy, and American Farmhouse Style Magazine. In her free time, Lauren continues to enjoy painting, visiting local coffee shops, and working alongside her husband to restore their 150 year old Victorian home.
