Art Exhibit & Sale at River's Edge Apalachicola

The gallery at River's Edge Apalachicola will be hosting our next artist show "The Tree of Life".
In addition to our current gallery artists, we are inviting artists from the North Florida area to participate.
This event will be a showcase of the varied interpretations that the Tree of Life has signified to many different cultures over the centuries. The Tree of Life continues to be a powerful symbol in art, particularly religious art. In science it is often used as a metaphor for the connection between the diversity of all life on Earth.
We are asking artists to create work that represents the theme “The Tree of Life”.
Some of the avenues of interpretation could be scientific, religious, cultural, philosophical, spiritual, magical or mythological.

We leave the creation up to the artist! This should be a fun and intellectually stimulating show.

Please notify the gallery by August 24, 2024 that you will be participating

Submit artwork information, image & updated biography by September 14, 2024
- High resolution image of each piece of art
- Include: Artist Name, Title, Size, Medium, Retail Price
- Artist / Gallery split is 60/40
Deliver Art to River's Edge – Saturday October 5, 2024
- 2-D artists can contribute up to three works per artist. Maximum size limit is up to 36” on the longest side. All work must be wired - ready to hang, titled and signed on the back.
- 3-D artists can contribute up to three works per artist. Please include stands if needed.
- Jewelry artists can contribute up to ten pieces.
- Please submit the attached Artist Consignment sheet with artwork.
Opening Reception - Friday October 11, 2024 4 to 7 p.m.
- People’s Choice Award: Patrons will be asked to vote on their favorite work of art.
- Show Closes – November 15, 2024
- Pick Up Unsold Work – November 16, 2024
- This event will be hosted by River’s Edge Apalachicola. There is no fee to participate.
