Robin Popp - Mixed Media

Born in south Florida into a family of artists and craftsman, Robin has been painting since she was old enough to hold a brush. She spent a short time at Ringling College of Art in Sarasota, FL and graduated from Pinellas Technical College as a cabinetmaker. Her favorite medium is oils and she loves to work en plein air, traveling to paint in many outdoor events.

Robin has a fascination for the found object and she loves to frame her paintings in wood and recycled materials, bringing both her painting and woodworking skills together to tell a story in a unique way. Much of her inspiration comes from her rural North Florida Farm. She also teaches painting and woodworking throughout the South.
