Originally from Chile, he moved to the United States in 1980 and began his journey in the world of carpentry, remodeling homes in Northern Virginia. Over the years, he honed his craft, gaining a deep appreciation for working with wood.
While his background includes two years of study in Architecture and Technical Drafting, he ultimately chose to pursue a career that allowed him to work with his hands and bring his creative visions to life. About six years ago, he was introduced to the art of woodturning, which quickly became a true calling.
Specializing in turning beautiful, functional pieces such as bowls, jewelry boxes, ring boxes, and wall clocks, Ricardo works with a wide variety of wood species and finishes, each piece reflecting his attention to detail and commitment to quality.
