Randy Brienen

Randy was born in central Illinois and has lived in Tallahasse for more than 30 years.  He is married to Debra (also and artist) and has raised three children.  He is a mainly self-taught artist working in acrylic.  He has drawn and painted on and off for most of his life.  In 2007, Randy started painting professionally and immediately found collector interest in his impressionistic and abstract styles.  His use of vibrant colors and bold textures are a creative interpretation of his subjects and surroundings.

Randy has been selected to exhibit annually, (2008 thru 2019) at Lemoyne "Chain of Parks" art festival.  He has current exhibits at; Weezie's two locations, Strauss Gallery, Canopy Rd. Cafe, the Ball House Mansion, 319 Wine Bar, and River's Edge Gallery in Apalachicola.  He served 2010-2012 on Lemoyne Center for the Visual Arts board of directors. Randy is also a past Vice President of the Tallahassee Area Watercolor Society.  He exhibited with his wife Debra at Tallahassee City Hall and at Lemoyne in 2010 and 2016.  He and his wife have a permanent 'Side by Side' exhibit at the TMH Cancer Center.  He has exhibited at the Gadsen Arts Center during the 2012 season and scheduled to exhibit in 2020.

Randy's work expresses a variety of styles and techniques appealing to clients interested in contemporary and traditional art.  He paints inspirationally and by commission.

Brienenart donates a portion of each sale to the prevention and treatment of cancer.
